Spirit In Action
Each week, Spirit In Action brings you stories of people living lives of fruitful service, of peace, community, compassion, creative action and progressive efforts. We'll trace the spiritual roots that support and nourish them in their service. Above all, we'll seek out Light, Love and Helping Hands, being shared between our many neighbors on this planet, hoping to inspire and encourage you to sink deep roots and produce sacred fruit in your own life.

Spirit In Action is an hour of interviews with those providing leadership in peace, justice and "good works", interspersed with relevant music.

The theme music is "The Turning of the World" performed by Sara Thomsen (written by Ruth Pellham) and "I Have No Hands But Yours" by Carol Johnson

Therapeutic just to listen to such hopeful, inspiring dialogue with practical examples of how Transition works. Loved the music, too, but would have like to hear more of the songs.

I enjoyed and learned from the program, as a Quaker, and as a Transition person.

This was one of the deepest discussions of Transition I have heard. Incredibly smart and heartfelt, with wonderful examples from across the country and world, but also local examples of people making a difference. Well done to the speakers and the moderator.

This is a fine, listenable conversation. The back and forth between the two presenters keeps it lively. And they do an excellent job of covering the basics, PLUS they capture the spirit and enthusiasm of the Transition movement.
