Critter in the Choir - Bill Staines |
What a warm soulful voiceBill Stains' speaking voice is as warm and soothing as his singing voice. I'm pretty sure I saw him at the Commons Coffee House at Cornell U. in the late 70s, then for sure in New Hampshire at about 1984. I was working at Otter Lake Conservation School and would sing the boys to sleep with "River". | Rich Featherly (not verified)

Ida Kristin about David Llewellyn an Ida KristinThis program was so touching. The quintessence was that even if life struggles there is a meaning and there will be a solution that we can handle. We are always on our way somewhere and the way is leading to a better place. Ida's voice is something I can not describe; going straight to the heart and DavidAndIda's songs are so beautiful. Also David's song about what happened in Wales was amazing, so touching. And I must say; Mark, what a respectful and good listener you are, it was a joy listening to how you conducted the interview. | Gunilla Johansson (not verified)

You, too, CraigThank you Craig, for sharing you friendship, stories and feelings about Larry as well. You & Brett are so kind, thoughtful and well spoken in your remembrances of Larry. I have sat in wonder, joy and sadness, too, as I have been listening & cataloging the hundreds of songs that we recorded together over the years here at the studio. Each song brings many strong memories of our time together. | Jonathon Leubner (not verified)

Honoring LarryAgreed! I'm currently learning a few Larry songs for a tribute at the Bay View Massacre ceremony. How wonderful and sad to hear his voice and guitar again. Thanks Brett for putting together such wonderful friends over the years to play his music and honor him while he was alive. | Craig Siemsen (not verified)
