| Good Program and the Banjo vibrates the soul and Jesus heals. I too suffer for my own reasons with PTSD. Although not a warrior in the traditional sense, I consider myself a spiritual warriors for Jesus Christ. I have suffered with PTSD for some past events in traumas in my own life. Jesus said when as follower so f him we will have "tribulation". As i get closer to Jesus the world persecutes. I found this article and recording by searching for information or observations that the banjo has been a healing device for them. I took on playing clawhammer banjo about 9 months ago and immediately felt the affects on me and the soothing power combined with Scripture reading. What i noticed was the vibration and music from the banjo head penetrating my body right where the soul resides. Jesus made several observations and comments about the Spirit being in the belly. First to the woman at the well, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life". (John 4:14). Jesus also went on to say, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water". (John 7:37-38) You see Jesus' bride will be the vessel in which he is birthed again in the last 3.5 years of his ministry. (see and understand Rev 12). See the similarities of the scripture at the end of Revelation and the river coming from the thrown. This is the belly of man the vessel in which the thrown of Christ resides, the heart is the alter. When the man and woman (Bride and the Bridegroom) become one flesh and his bride rules and reigns with the bridegroom and become joint heirs of the Father on ultimate Sabbath and rest day. See the similarities spiritually: "And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." Revelation 22:1-5 As you can see that the banjo with Jesus can help heal the soul. The banjo vibrates and livens the soul but inviting Jesus when he is inside you heals. | Rich (not verified) | ||
| Spirit In Action -Occupy the USA - Emma's RevolutionI didn't really listen to the show. I was visiting the website to see if it was something I would find uplifting. I do not think there is anything compassionate about the Occupy Wall Street protestors. They are not doing anything to help our country. To sing about perceived injustice is a good thing. To damage personal property and block customers from small businesses is not helping matters. To leave any place you have been, worse off than when you arrived, is not a Christian concept. The protestors need to be more creative in their focus. I'm sure most of the protestors have their money in banks. It is hypocritical to continue to protest while you are utilize the banks services. Making a statement with your $ would be more effective than occupy protests. Thank you, Shelly R. | Shelley (not verified) | ||

| Another inspiring interviewAnother inspiring interview with an important Quaker voice. Alivia's faith journey is moving; her conversion story especially spoke to me. She also has a beautiful, clear voice that conveys the presence of the Divine in her own words and music and the interpretation of others'. This is an interview I'll return to, so I've downloaded it on my iPod. | Iris Graville (not verified) | ||
