inspiring and saddening.inspiring and saddening. Leaves me wondering how can I even come close to the kind of change needed to really follow (do what they did) the real spiritual leaders. 5/15/12
After listening to MegAfter listening to Meg Barnhouse, I was glad to see you hosted Kiya. Very nice voice, the story was not as compelling. With six songs there was less room for exploring her faith. It could also be that it's getting late and I didn't listen as well.
I was thinking a solid 4I was thinking a solid 4 stars till a little over half way. It's funny that I like some of your Spirit in Action guests, but I don't think I've heard a single "Song of the Soul" show that I didn't just love. That must be one of the most common ways a soul finds expression when it is unleashed in us, it comes out in song.
Great questions, great storyGreat questions, great story and great music! In an era with so much divisiveness and mindless rabble rousing (especially on the radio!), it's nice to hear a message of acceptance, inclusiveness and tolerance. Best of luck with your shows and thanks for featuring Lon and his music.
Thanks, Mark, for posting this event. Great discussion and input from the panel!
