Riveting & Sisterly – Deborah Silverstein

Deborah Silverstein

Deborah Silverstein is a gem and a beacon. She started out musically in the heady early days of women's music, in the 1970s, as part of the Red Basement Singers, and the New Harmony Sisterhood Band. With a winding path including decades as a psychotherapist, she always came back to her music, leading to many years with Taproot, and The Band of Erics. Her current excitement is a yet-to-be-produced musical called Riveted, as in Rosie The Riveter. With a beautiful voice that shine solo and especially in harmony with others, Deborah moves her listeners deeply.

Past/present religious/spiritual influences: Jewish, Meditation, Buddhism, Unaffiliated

Tippy Amick told me you were playing in Asheville soon.  When?  and Where?  I'm not finding it in our media.

Thanks a bunch!
