How should we treat them? Forgiveness? Demand an apology? Ask them to bring back the dead and wounded and clean up the mess in the desert, recover all the mines and rounds ready to explode if some child walks on them. Find homes for the displaced? Our visit to Lopez Is in 2007 was very special and to see even then the marvelous work that they have been involved in was truely inspiring. Since then Makere has made several visits to Lopez and the surrounding areas. I have not been back there unfortunately but I certainly hope to this year for their wedding in Sept.
