Fine, listenable conversationThis is a fine, listenable conversation. The back and forth between the two presenters keeps it lively. And they do an excellent job of covering the basics, PLUS they capture the spirit and enthusiasm of the Transition movement.
Thanks, Mark, for your greatThanks, Mark, for your great work on Spirit in Action programming. I was so honored to be interviewed by you again. You are a great radio producer.
I'm so glad you took myI'm so glad you took my advice and did the interview with Ed Trickett! He sounds every bit as honest, wise, caring, and humorous as I had imagined. Great to hear his story - as you pointed out, news of him is hard to come by. Thank you! The reason why I'm not giving it top rating is that unfortuately, the telephone line from Chicago wasn't very good. His voice is blurred sometimes. A pity, but can't be helped, I guess.
Something I didn't hear inSomething I didn't hear in the interview (maybe I just missed it) was any mention of the importance of physical health and, what I think is most important, mental health in helping people out of poverty. Perhaps the reason, up till now, is that we haven't had much luck in improving peoples mental health significantly.
Great show. I'm also a formerGreat show. I'm also a former catholic and while I learned some important ideas from it, I don't miss it at all. The worship I had this morning with a small circle of Friends outside in the sun with birds singing was better than any church service I've been to.

I hope his wife didn't mindI hope his wife didn't mind him talking about how his career affected his marriage. It really personalized the interview. Sometimes following our light leaves those who depend on us feeling a little dark. 5/25/12
