This is Rick. I just wantedThis is Rick. I just wanted to let you know that the first show I listened to with Justin Leeson really touched my soul and resonated with me. I could relate alot with his unfortunate "church" experiences and I really agree and respect what he had to say. I loved especially how you guys integrated selected songs that had meaning with what you guys were talking about. That was great! Again it was a powerful show, and I will tune into to other ones for now on. It is inspirating to hear someone with an honest heart and a deep - intelligent thought provoking mind. Blessed be!, Rick from Ames, Iowa
inspiring and saddening.inspiring and saddening. Leaves me wondering how can I even come close to the kind of change needed to really follow (do what they did) the real spiritual leaders. 5/15/12
After listening to MegAfter listening to Meg Barnhouse, I was glad to see you hosted Kiya. Very nice voice, the story was not as compelling. With six songs there was less room for exploring her faith. It could also be that it's getting late and I didn't listen as well.
I was thinking a solid 4I was thinking a solid 4 stars till a little over half way. It's funny that I like some of your Spirit in Action guests, but I don't think I've heard a single "Song of the Soul" show that I didn't just love. That must be one of the most common ways a soul finds expression when it is unleashed in us, it comes out in song.
Thanks, Mark, for posting this event. Great discussion and input from the panel!
