A self-proclaimed "Budd Lite" (as in Buddhism), Catholic-raised, Americana musician, Joe Fahey lives the questions through his music. Today the questions include life & death, but there are no definitive answers on tap here, just experiences, feelings, & some whimsy, from this Twin Cities-based artist.

A long-ago migrant from the Jersey Shore to the Heartland, Ian Alexy and his brother have been the Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank, while his own band is Ian Alexy & The Deserters. It's driving rock, it's folk, it's real, it's great.

J.E. Sunde is a sensitive, creative, inspired singer/songwriter who combines the influences of the folk greats of earlier generations with the broad indie canvass of his own. Currently a resident of the Twin Cities, J.E. does solo work now after 10 years with The Daredevil Christopher Wright.

Sherry Minnick is rich in music, having been a Twin Cities mainstay in the Bluegrass genre, but she has a special passion for old timey songs. And though she's very skillful on the guitar, a capella singing has the deepest appeal for her. She's moving and funny, talented and resourceful, and very personable. She led 2 different diverse youth chorus groups for 17 years, showcasing spiritual music from many sources, including Jewish, Navajo, South African, and much more. David Huckfelt is co-founder of The Pines, a Twin Cities band making Midwest music which is sometimes haunted, eloquent, gripping, starkly poetic, and which is always very, very, good. With all kinds of musical influences, the final product is unique to them. David grew up in Iowa and now is in awe of Lake Superior.

Chester McCoy grew up Catholic in a working class neighborhood of St Louis when segregation was still the rule. His way out of the limitations and oppression of racism was through education, social work and his his rich connections with people, including college at St John's in Collegeville, Minnesota. Chester has been writing songs for about 30 years now, and is a Quaker, a member of Minneapolis Friends Meeting.
